New Studio Website

Hi friends! I've been missing this blog over the last few days but I've had a great excuse for not writing: my little brother was visiting! He left this morning on the train to D.C., and while his visit felt too short it was oh so sweet. We had tons of fun and it was a blast having him here and showing him around our new town.

This brother of mine has a brilliant artistic streak. He and I are creative in different (but complementary) ways which makes for some wonderful collaborations. I asked him to design a website for my piano studio business and he whipped up something gorgeous for me. I'm so proud of it and wanted to share it with you today! You can find it here.

In addition to the designing and coding he took all of the photos you see on the site. I love how neutral and clean and muted it is--the look is understated and sophisticated if I do say so. I could never have done this on my own!

Anyway, just wanted to share. Three cheers for awesome brothers. Hope you're all having a great week!

  10. Beautiful pictures!! I just wrote my studio policy this past week so it was fun to read your philosophy and policy. Introspection...I love that you included that in what is involved in studying piano. So true and reflective!

  11. There's so much to be gleaned and learned from studying music, even if the student doesn't play beyond high school, don't you think? I really try to impart "life lessons" in my teaching. :)
