I would recommend Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint. Her colors are GORGEOUS (and she's a blogger, so you can see what the colors actually look like in her painted pieces that she photographs) and it's pretty forgiving. No sanding required. I would use her bonding agent if you don't want a chippy/flaky finish, because it can do that sometimes. Good luck!!Kate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-57817896721630970722014-12-29T16:20:48.492-05:002014-12-29T16:20:48.492-05:00I love the organic and rustic look of your rooms. ...I love the organic and rustic look of your rooms. It's so pretty and unpretentious...I'm assuming kind of like you? I have a huge dresser that's just sitting in my garage, waiting to be repainted. I have Annie Sloan's paint in a color I no longer like. Would you recommend milk paint? So no precoat needed? Can you make some brand suggestions for me? My huge dresser is currently ugly dark wood that I know will be beautiful with a little facelift. :)Angela Kimhttp://www.Mommy-Diary.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-85599035985057064742014-10-15T13:38:55.192-04:002014-10-15T13:38:55.192-04:00The quilts on the dresser are handmade family heir...The quilts on the dresser are handmade family heirlooms. :)Kate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-326378670127959132014-10-15T13:38:28.239-04:002014-10-15T13:38:28.239-04:00I'm not sure, it's something my mom has ha...I'm not sure, it's something my mom has had forever and she gave it to me!Kate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-59812875344658635102014-10-15T13:36:11.319-04:002014-10-15T13:36:11.319-04:00Where did you find that quilT!?Where did you find that quilT!?Jennifer Campbellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-43859331513313114542014-10-02T07:33:29.412-04:002014-10-02T07:33:29.412-04:00Thanks ;) xoThanks ;) xoKate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-62933397917855452032014-10-01T17:06:57.265-04:002014-10-01T17:06:57.265-04:00looks great, kate!looks great, kate!karennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-1043403278954709092014-09-30T15:16:48.062-04:002014-09-30T15:16:48.062-04:00I love it too, glad you think so! :)I love it too, glad you think so! :)Kate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-28496654197472308592014-09-30T15:16:38.693-04:002014-09-30T15:16:38.693-04:00Try it!
