My tip would be to start with more sheer lipsticks (Clinique makes beautiful ones) before trying out matte lipsticks. It's the L'Oreal Magic BB Cream in Fair and it makes me feel so much more put together. I have uneven skin and get red really easy and it picks me up each time.
