In addition to playing old Preludes and Fugues I've been sight-reading the Well-Tempered Clavier, and also learning Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring (Myra Hess arrangement). What have you been playing?Kate Harveyhttp://something-ivory.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-11682793535943532432013-05-03T13:05:32.059-04:002013-05-03T13:05:32.059-04:00Ooo, just seeing this now. When time permits, I do this in the morning while waiting for my coffee to finish. Great way to get the fingers and brain warmed up for the day.Stacey McDonaldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8085492922417631594.post-85687901898477378012013-04-26T11:20:32.145-04:002013-04-26T11:20:32.145-04:00Oh yes, that's a perfect comparison. Clears the head :) I don't know if I could discipline myself to play my old preludes and fugues every day though, haha! although I'm sure it would be beneficial!!Katie @ Loverly Shenoreply@blogger.com
